Privacy Notice

1. Who is responsible

Singalang Technologies, Wisma DUBS, Miri, Sarawak, operator of AutoGetz™. For any question or request about your personal data, email hello@autogetz.com.

2. What we collect

• Your email address, to sign you in and send codes and the alerts you ask for.
• Name, WhatsApp and phone number, and town, if you sell a car, run a dealership or advertise.
• Business details and SSM documents from dealers, to verify them.
• Your listings, photos, saved cars and saved searches.
• Basic usage: pages and cars viewed, WhatsApp and call taps, advert impressions and clicks, to show sellers and advertisers how they're doing and to run the site.
• Payment records (not card numbers, which Stripe handles).

3. Why we use it

To run AutoGetz: signing you in, showing listings, connecting buyers with sellers, sending the alerts and notices you ask for, billing, preventing fraud and misuse, and improving the site. We don't sell your personal data.

4. What others can see

When you list a car, buyers see the name, town and WhatsApp or phone number you give for it. Dealers' showroom pages show their business details. Everything else is private to you, your team (for dealers) and us.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers who run parts of AutoGetz for us, only as needed: Supabase (database and storage, Singapore), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (domains and network), Resend (email) and Stripe (payments). Some are outside Malaysia; we use them because they protect data to recognised standards. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

6. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Cars you pick to compare are remembered only in your own browser. We don't use advertising trackers.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active and as needed to run the service, meet legal and tax requirements, and resolve disputes. Removed listings may be kept for a limited time for these reasons.

8. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent (for example, stop alert emails from any email, or ask us to close your account). Email hello@autogetz.com; we'll reply within the time the PDPA allows.

9. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, restricted access and regular checks. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.

10. Changes

We may update this notice and will change the date at the top. This notice is available in English, Malay and Chinese; if they differ, the Malay and English versions apply.
